1991 saw the birth of Parikrama. This sound fuses Indian classical music instruments like mridangam, tabla and flute with conventional instruments like guitar, drums and keyboards. This experiment of sounds has become synonymous with Parikrama today.

With a number of hits and countless live outings below their belt, Parikrama has been in the thick of things for over 20 years. From major college festivals to remote towns, each appearance has added another feather to their legendary cap. One of the brightest jewels in their crown has to be getting handpicked by Iron Maiden to take mainstage before them at the Download Festival in 2007.

Their performances, complete with psychedelic lights and remote-activated fireworks are an audio-visual treat.
