Amit Gurbaxani is a journalist who is currently the senior editor of the city-centric webzine Mumbaiboss.com. He has been writing extensively about music for over a decade, for publications such as Time Out Mumbai, where he edited the music section and was the deputy editor; NH7’s Indiecision, for which he is a contributing editor; and Rolling Stone India, for which he writes a blog about music charts. His work has also appeared in newspapers such as The Guardian, The Indian Express and Mint Lounge and magazines such as Elle among others.

His after-office life is an endless series of gigs across his home city.
