Though his journey began as a business development manager, Vishwaraj Mohan’s urge to create something of his own soon led him to convert an old factory in Bangalore into an alternative space. His interests, ranging from food, movies and music to art and culture, made him foray into the hospitality industry and kick-start his very first venture – CounterCulture. Combining entrepreneurship and technology with creativity and passion, he has made CounterCulture a lot more than just a restaurant.

Rated as a ‘cultural’ hero’ by Timeout magazine, Vishwa has been constantly promoting the arts in diverse forms and hopes to make CounterCulture the ultimate platform for independent artists from across genres.
