Gerriet Schultz is a freelance project manager and musician based in Berlin, Germany. He is the Chief Editor of Border Movement, a platform and cultural catalyst that aims to encourage interaction between the electronic music scenes of South Asia and Germany. Based in Berlin, it raises awareness by providing content and discourse on artists, labels, trends, developments, releases, projects, players, promoters, creators, movers, shakers and innovators in both regions. The aim is to initiate and support a dialogue between the scenes, thus bringing South Asian artists closer to German audiences and vice versa. Border Movement generates content by engaging both established and grassroots writers, bloggers, artists and players from both regions and is a common initiative of the Goethe-Institutes in South Asia and a project realised in an alliance with partners. He is also the co-founder of Adapter, a Berlin based project agency for international cultural exchange, currently managing 'TenCities', an exchange project of five African and five European cities. |
