Gaurav Vaz started out as a rock musician with his college band Phenom and from there moved to more solo sessions as a serenader at restaurants to trying various interesting opportunities in Music.

For the past 6 years, he has been playing bass guitar with The Raghu Dixit Project, an Indo-World-Folk-Rock band with a very fresh and original sound. Since the release of its first album, the band is counted as one of the most popular bands in its genre in the country.

Gaurav was the head of OML Digital, a venture by the Bombay based Only Much Louder that aims at creating products and providing services to the Indian entertainment industry. He then worked as the Vice President for Muckwork, a startup that was launched by Derek Sivers, after he sold CD Baby.

He currently works with the web design and consultancy agency called The Random Lines, designing and creating websites, handling corporate communication and most recently iOS applications. He also does some technical consulting for various companies in India and the UK.
